Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
When you create an account and use PsychicBrad, we collect:
- — Account information: Email address and password hash (passwords are never stored in plain text).
- — Numerology profile: Full birth name, birth date, and optionally a current name — all encrypted at rest before storage.
- — Conversation history: Questions you ask the Oracle and responses — stored encrypted.
- — Generated readings: Chart snapshots and reading history associated with your account.
- — Payment data: Processed exclusively by Stripe. We receive confirmation of purchases and transaction IDs, never raw card numbers.
- — Usage data: Feature usage patterns, error logs, and basic analytics to improve the platform. No behavioral tracking sold to third parties.
2. How We Protect Sensitive Data
Encryption at rest
Your birth name, birth date, current name, and conversation history are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being written to our database. Each user's data is protected with a unique key derived from a master secret — your data cannot be decrypted without both the database record and the server-side secret.
Plain-text versions of your sensitive information are held only transiently in server memory during calculations and are never written to logs, analytics, or third-party services in unencrypted form.
3. How We Use Your Information
- — To generate your numerology chart and personalized readings.
- — To provide context for AI coaching conversations grounded in your chart.
- — To maintain your account, reading history, and Star balance.
- — To process payments and fulfill purchases.
- — To send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts) — never marketing without consent.
- — To improve platform reliability and fix errors.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your birth name, birth date, or reading content for advertising targeting.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate PsychicBrad:
- — Anthropic (Claude AI): Generates reading interpretations. Your prompt content is sent to Anthropic's API. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
- — Stripe: Processes payments. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- — Resend: Sends transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts).
- — ElevenLabs: Generates voice audio for readings (when used). Text sent for TTS generation is not retained by ElevenLabs beyond the request.
- — Cloudflare R2: Stores cached audio files and generated content.
- — Railway: Cloud hosting provider where the application runs.
5. AI and Your Data
When you ask the AI a question, relevant context from your numerology chart (numbers, not your birth name or date) may be included in the prompt sent to Anthropic's API. We take care to send the minimum context necessary. Your personal identifiers are not sent to AI providers.
6. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your profile, encrypted sensitive data, and conversation history within 30 days. Payment records may be retained as required by applicable financial regulations.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- — Request correction of inaccurate data.
- — Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- — Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time.

8. Cookies
PsychicBrad uses session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
PsychicBrad is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. SMS, Email & Marketing Communications
We send transactional messages as part of operating your account — for example, sign-in links and receipts. With your separate, optional consent, we also send marketing communications: email updates and/or text messages about new readings, features, and offers. You opt in to each on our "Before you enter" screen (unchecked by default), and we record the date of each consent. Marketing consent is never required to create an account, purchase, or use PsychicBrad.
Your mobile information is never shared
We do not sell or rent your mobile phone number or personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share your number only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages you asked for (for example, our email and SMS providers), and only for that purpose.
You can opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, reply STOP to any text message, or change your preferences in account settings. See our SMS Terms & Messaging Policy for details on the text-message program.
